What is PPSLA?
The Phoenix Police Sergeants and Lieutenants Association is the exclusive employee association authorized by the City of Phoenix to represent all sergeants and lieutenants as it relates to wages, fringe benefi ts, and working conditions in accordance with the Meet and Discuss Ordinance.
PPSLA is managed by an Executive Board consisting of nine experienced board members from around the department including a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and fi ve Trustees. We have two full time release positions, i.e., the President and Discipline & Grievance Chairperson, to provide around the clock service, representation and support as well as many peer volunteers who assist PPSLA.
Mission: To provide professional services and representation to our members, and be a viable force within our department, city and state.

I had the most wonderful experience in November of 2007. I joined thousands of other people to walk 60 miles in 3 days in support of the fight against Breast Cancer. I arrived alone on a journey in support of this ugly disease which hit close to home because it had infected a dear family member and friends.
